Oh my goodness, little Isabel stole my heart at her in-home photography session last week! She is such a little peanut, and slept the entire 3 hours I was there! She even let me change her into three different wraps without a fuss! I had such a great time meeting, getting to know, and photographing this new little family! We had fun outfit planning and putting together Isabel's coordinating wraps and headbands! So much fun! I fell in love with their cozy home and the beautiful natural light from their giant windows overlooking an open space. I felt their home was a refreshing taste of character, and I can't ever say no to house plants. (P.S. If you don't know already, I have a small, or big, obsession with house plants- in my own home, and using them to add texture to my clients photos).

When this sweet little family first reached out to me about their newborn session, they told me it was important to them to include some photo's of their first baby, their fur baby Maggie. Absolutely! I love fur babies and it is important to include them in at least a few photo's! Maggie was such a sweetheart, she greeted me when I first arrived with hugs and licks, she was a great listener, and was ready to be the center of attention in her new sister's newborn photo's. I mean-just look at that face! I always enjoy photographing fur babies!

It was finally spring when I photographed this family, which meant all the spring color's and patterns. I'd say we nailed it. Mom + dad did a wonderful job with their pastel coordinating outfits and I was able to find some floral spring looking wraps for little miss Isabel. Even though it still looks like winter outside here in northern Colorado, we had all the spring feels!

Getting to know this family was so nice. We talked all about our love for living in Colorado, how much it has changed over the years, and which little mountain towns and hikes were our favorites. These two are such a wonderful couple and from the outside, I know they make amazing parents too! Isabel is one lucky little girl!
