Okay first of all, Kylie and Zach are just as kind of people as they are beautiful and it truly shows in their photos! I remember planning this session with Kylie for months before the day came. (Yes, she was that excited, and I LOVE that!) One request- mountains! You got it, I know just the spot! Little did I know at the time how 1) amazing these two are, and 2) how freaking beautiful the sky would be that evening! I have been to this Boulder location for photoshoots a hundred times, and I have never caught a sky like this. AND it was even better because it matched Kylie's dress! (Which I also LOVE by the way)!!!! So it was all around a wonderful evening getting to know and photographing these two and hearing all about the excitement welcoming their first baby! We really hit it off, what a great feeling!

At their maternity photoshoot, I learned that Kylie and Zach had already booked a studio newborn session with a different photographer. Totally understandable, those sessions with all the props are SO cute and I can't ever be upset with anyone for wanting a different style of something I don't personally offer. I was excited for them! Kylie asked me about the type of newborn photography I provide, which I explained, in-home, lifestyle, gentle posing etc... WELL, let me tell you that before I even delivered the gallery from their maternity photos, they booked an in-home newborn session with me AS WELL! And I was SO excited about it! (Yes, this is sometimes what people do for their first baby- two newborn photoshoots lol). I just loved photographing these two and seriously can't wait to meet their new little one.

Here is the email I received from Kylie after posting a few of their sneak peaks on Facebook: "I am BEYOND obsessed with the maternity photos you posted. I think I've already looked at them like 50 times! Can't wait to see the rest of them. Seriously, I love them! Way to make a 36 week pregnant woman feel pretty!"

Now, if that isn't the best email to open, I don't know what is! To say I can't wait to meet this baby and photograph this family again would be an understatement. Congratulations to this soon-to-be family of 3!
