First things first, these two wall papered their baby girls nursery, and how cute does it look?! I'm a big fan of wall paper, I grew up on the east coast, where buildings and homes are older and have tons of character, so the fact that wall paper is coming back in style, and they make the cutest patterns these days, I'm just a big fan. Also, I know how freaking hard it is to do yourself- I know because I wall papered my office wall a few years ago, and I freaking love it, but I don't know if I'll ever do it again, ah! And yes, these two did this wall themselves (I asked) and they stayed married through it all! :) :) :) I think they did an amazing job and love how their little girls nursery turned out, in their downtown Denver home!

My first time meeting this adorable family was during their newborn photo shoot, and they are the sweetest! Their little girl slept during her entire newborn photo session, and I just love how they included their family dog in a few photos as well! Oh, and I'm obsessed with how they spelled "Alivia". I absolutely love unique names that aren't too out there or hard for the average person to pronounce, but this is such a beautiful name, and they decided to use an A (instead of an O) to match her mamas name, and I think that's the sweetest thing ever.

If you really know me in person, you know I'm a very sentimental person. I have pictures of me as a baby with my mother and father (as a first time parents) that still bring me to tears to this day. I have clothing items and ballet shoes from when I was a little girl that I will never get rid of. I believe family and friends are the best and most important thing in my life, and photographs frozen in time are priceless. When I photograph newborns, I constantly remind myself that these are the moments that these families will look back at and remember forever. These photos will bring them right back to that moment, and only become more valuable as time goes on.

I just love the photos we capture together, this young family with their first baby, and all those little moments of her frozen in time. It won't be long before she's a little girl and I'm photographing her as a one-year-old, or possibly a big sister. Being a professional photographer holds a special place in my heart <3
