Baby Reese | 6 Month Studio Photoshoot | Milestone Session with Redrock Portrait Design

Hello sweet baby Reese! At just six months old, this girl and her HAIR! And yes, her parents get comments about her hair everywhere they go. And she was pretty much born with two inches of hair! Her mama already has a hard time "styling" it :)

Ohhh where do I begin with this sweet baby. I have known and photographed her family for quiet a few years now. It all started when Lauren was pregnant with her oldest, Mason. She booked my popular milestone package, so I got to see them for maternity, newborn, six months, and one year photo shoots, then again for maternity, newborn and six month photo shoots for this sweet girl! So to say we've gotten to know each other pretty well, would be accurate. I absolutely adore this family and these cute kids!

So, we've had this six month photo shoot scheduled for some time. Well, in true Colorado crazy weather fashion, it happened to be a massive snow storm on this fall day that we were scheduled for OUTDOOR photos. Yeah, that was not happening. Unfortunately this family were scheduled to move to Nashville the day after these photos, so rescheduling was not an option for them! I will miss photographing them dearly, but we did what we had to do to get one last session in before the move. We moved indoor to the studio in Longmont, watched the snow fall outside, and energy filled older brother run around like a mad man while I photographed the cutest pictures of his little sister! Everything worked out, and the photos came out beautifully!

Nothing like having a lot on your plate while trying to squeeze in family photos! Wowza.

I already can't wait for them to come visit Colorado again so we can get some outdoor photos with the beautiful scenery we have to offer here!
